2 ways to ensure your service-based business survives COVID

Many small business owners are fantastic at what they do – business like doctors in private practice, a massage therapist, or hairstylist. Where these service-based business owners lack is the entrepreneurial skills required to grow. Right now, 7.5 million small businesses are at risk of closing their doors due to COVID-19. Additionally, more than 100,000 small businesses have already closed permanently due to the pandemic. 

  1. Now is the time to double down on past customers. Reach out to them and reconnect. See how you can help them. What are their concerns and fears you can help support? (Bonus, they will give you ideas on new services they are willing to pay for)
  2. Build trust. COVID-19 has forced all of us online, like never before. Your customers can use a trusted, curated source of information, and you can provide that. Sharing information that is important to your customers is also a great way to build trust! My doctor has yet to call me with any COVID related news, a follow-up or check-in to see how the family and I are doing.
